Word Around The Lowcountry
What Charleston Homeowners Say
“They graded our whole backyard before installing the turf and it finally drains right after a storm. First company that actually explained why the base work mattered.”
Caroline H.
Mount Pleasant, SC
“Veteran-owned and it shows — showed up on time every day at our office park, cleaned up every night, did exactly what the quote said. Rare these days.”
Derek M.
James Island, SC

Good To Know
Artificial Turf FAQs
Does artificial turf get hot in the Charleston heat?
Modern turf runs warmer than natural grass in direct sun but stays comfortable in shade and cools quickly with a quick rinse. We install heat-resistant, light-reflective fibers and can add cooling infill for full-sun yards, so it stays usable through a Lowcountry summer.
Is artificial turf safe for dogs and kids?
Yes. Our pet and play turf uses non-toxic fibers and antimicrobial, odor-resistant infill over a fast-draining base, so urine and rinse water drain away instead of pooling. It's soft underfoot, non-slip, and built to handle daily use by pets and children.
How long does artificial turf last?
A properly installed synthetic lawn lasts 15–20 years, and many of our systems carry 15-year fiber warranties. The base preparation is what determines longevity — which is why we never cut corners on grading and compaction.
How much does artificial turf cost in Charleston?
Cost depends on square footage, site prep, and the turf system you choose. Most residential projects fall within a per-square-foot range that we'll walk through during your free on-site estimate — no surprises, and the quote you get is the invoice you get.
Does artificial turf drain well in Lowcountry rain?
It drains faster than most natural lawns. We build every install on a compacted, drainage-rated base with perforated backing, so water moves through quickly and your yard is usable again minutes after a Charleston downpour.
How much maintenance does artificial turf need?
Almost none — no mowing, watering, or fertilizing. An occasional rinse and brushing keeps it upright and clean, and our scheduled Cleaning Programs handle that for you so it looks freshly installed for years.
